24 – Cheesy Food Route

A lot of guys try to talk themselves up so they’re “worthy” to pick up the girl they’re on a date with. Don’t be like that. It comes from a place of insecurity and girls don’t find that attractive.

They wouldn’t even humor me. Not even for a second. You must be something special then.

If you lead an interesting life, then show her a piece at a time, keeping her intrigued. If you show her absolutely everything on the first date, then there won’t be much to go on later on. If you already read the book, then watching the movie version won’t be as compelling because you’ll already know exactly what happens. It’s more fun to be surprised. That’s one of the keys on how to get a girlfriend.

You’ll have to explore certain details for yourself whether it’s through me or not. We’re NOT changing the world here and it’s obvious since the beginning of time men have managed to land some pretty amazing and yes beautiful women too.

• Be careful.
• If she’s earned your trust, you shouldn’t be afraid to tell her secrets.
• When you are infatuated… your priorities change, and all you want to do is to be with your loved one.
• The closer of a friend that you become, the harder it will be to change that into a relationship.
• She eventually has to introduce you to her friends and family.

If you’re a kinda bookish music dork, you’re not going to get the cheerleaders or the edgy “cool” girls to be interested, they’re in a different mindset and all you’re doing is setting yourself up for failure in pursuit of someone who may be hawt, but are often surprisingly boring when they open their mouths. Look around and see what other types of girls are around, make friends with the weirdos, if you don’t like them that way, they may have friends you will and they can put in a good word.

You decide if you’re really ready for a girlfriend. I know, you may be thinking, but why do I have to check if I’m ready? You wanna know why? Because relationships, as great as they are, are a lot of work. It’s no longer just you.

It was Erasure’s Andy Bell who famously sung “give a little respect to me”. And if you want to get a girlfriend, you should definitely process the UK crooner’s lyrics carefully! Respect shows a woman that you’re serious about forging a relationship with her. This doesn’t mean you have to overdo it on the chivalry front; too much can seem patronizing, Respect in this instance is a much more nuanced affair.

But they are guidelines, not rules. Life is never predictable.

If you know her from school or she’s already a friend then just ask her straight up, “Do you want to go out with me on Saturday night? ” Don’t start sweating or stuttering, just say it with confidence.

And, ironically, your power to get the relationship you want will rise dramatically too. However, keep your wits about you. Be careful.
